Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium is one of the stadiums in China used for preliminary football matches during the 2008 Olympics. The multi-purpose stadium is located within the Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center on Hebei Avenue. Construction began in May 2002 and was completed in July 2004: the Olympic-standard stadium, covering 168,000 square meters, seats 33,600 spectators, with a portion of seats reserved for people with disabilities. As part of preparations for the 2008 Olympics, the stadium hosted matches of the International Women's Football Invitational Tournament to test its readiness.
